Jenny had decided that she wanted to go down by the lake, although it was a bit chilly outside, she realized she hadn't really been out much this year. She put on thick leggings, followed by her uniform, then her Ravenclaw quidditch sweater, along with her ugg boots. Slinging her bag over her shoulder, she set out.

The Ravenclaw made her way down to the the lawns carefully, making sure not to fall off of the moving staircase, even after seven years of going here, she hadn't gotten used to the damned things. She narrowly missed falling off a few times before she finally got down to the ground floor, exiting out onto the lawns.

The blonde found a nice tree to sit under, avoiding the whomping willow at all costs, and she took out one of the Gameboys she had brought with her, and began to mess with it, trying to see if she could get it to work on magic. It had been too long since she had some quality entertainment that hadn't involved a quidditch match, not that she had anything against quidditch, of course, but sometimes she just wanted something that'd remind her of home.

As Jenny heard someone approaching, she quickly hid the blue Gameboy behind her back, hoping whomever it was hadn't noticed it. She wasn't sure whether or not handheld game would be confiscated, but she wasn't about to find out. "Is someone there?" she called out, glancing around cautiously, her blue eyes darting back and forth as she tried to figure out who had walked in on her. Well, not quite walked in, as she was outside, and under a tree, but in a sense walked in. Jenny shivered as she felt a cool breeze blow by as she waited for whomever that had found her to reveal themselves.

The chill of the season had officially begun to set in over the grounds of Hogwarts, but it wasn't enough to keep Skyler inside yet. The teen had decided that she could use some fresh air, so after a few hours of studiously working on schoolwork until her brain simply couldn't take anymore facts, she headed through the dungeons to make her way up to the main part of the castle, dressed in a pair of jeans, a black t-shirt with her Slytherin Quidditch hoodie pulled over it, and a pair of black Converse on her feet.

The brunette was quite proud of herself for having managed to learn how to navigate the dungeons fairly well. She almost never got lost in them anymore. Almost. Every once in a while she still did, but usually it only happened when the Slytherin witch wasn't paying attention at all to where she was going. Those were the times when she was usually lost in thought, and simply let her feet take her wherever they may. But for the most part, Sky managed to get around fairly easily. Atleast, in the dungeons. The same could not be said for the rest of the castle, as it's many trick stairs and moving staircases and walls pretending to be doors constantly had her confused and lost.

Luckily, she managed to make it to the entrance hall without any issue, and easily slipped through the front doors and out into the lawns of the grounds with a wide grin, taking in a deep breath of fresh and crisp, cool air. Her animal instincts reared their head, but purple eyes took in the grey sky and heavy clouds approaching. The tell tale signs of a storm brewing. Maybe she could go for a real run once it started to rain..

For the time being, Sky just wanted to relax a bit and enjoy being outside. So the teen did what had become habit for her whenever she wandered out on the lawns. She found the tree that she was fast starting to refer to as hers and easily lifted herself into it via a lower branch. Once there, the brunette climbed a bit higher, ensuring she would be hidden from view by its thick branches and many leaves, and took a comfortable place with her legs straddling the branch she say upon, back against the trunk.

The Slytherin leaned her head back and closed her eyes, simply enjoying the scents and sounds of nature, and letting it drive away all the stress and problems of her life. It was relieving, and her body relaxed, the tenseness seeping out easily. Sky had no clue how long she had stayed like that, and she didn't really care. It was much needed. But all good things came to an end, and soon her keen sense of hearing picked up the crunching of footsteps falling across the grass as someone approached.

That someone turned out to be a blonde girl. One the teen had never before seen or met since her short time at Hogwarts. Well, atleast, Sky thought she hadn't. It was hard to get a really good look at the girl's face, seeing as she took a seat at the bottom of the tree below the Slytherin witch. But the scent that wafted up to her was not familiar, so the brunette went off of that as far as determining if she knew the other female in any way.

She watched from her seat up above as the blonde took out a strange box-like object and began tinkering with it, her curiosity peeked immediately. After a few minutes of trying and failing to figure out what the girl below had and what she was trying to do with it, Sky decided to have some fun by flicking her wand, so that the sound of footfalls echoed around the girl softly. The devious grin that had settled onto her lips widened when the other called out, hiding the curious object behind her back as she looked around for whoever should have been approaching her.

Skyler climbed down the tree with the stealth of the predator that lurked within her, until she was on the same low branch she had used to climb up the tree. The teen hooked her legs over the branch, and with a wide grin let herself fall backwards off of it, though she was kept hanging by her legs. The action had her suddenly face to face, upside down, with the blonde girl as she yelled out "BOO!!", and then immediately burst into delighted laughter at the look on the other girl's face.

"Oh Merlin!! You should see your face!! That was priceless!! I'm sorry, I just couldn't help it!! That was too good a chance to pass up." With the ear-to-ear grin splitting her face, and shinning purple eyes, it was clear the brunette had meant no real harm. She really just hadn't been able to resist temptation. Besides, the girl really had left herself open to the trick.
