Looking Through the Trophies (Elizabeth Night) Empty
PostSubject: Looking Through the Trophies (Elizabeth Night)   Looking Through the Trophies (Elizabeth Night) Icon_minitimeSun Jun 22, 2014 8:23 am

Lyra looked through the trophies and rewards of all past students, examining them with a critical gaze. Her fascination with them was quite easy to explain. The teenage lookalike of Bellatrix Lestrange had intended to gain as many accomplishments as possible, and one of them involved getting her name plastered in this room with a reward of some kind. So far, though, throughout her years at Hogwarts, a reward or trophy of some kind had continued to elude her grasp, no matter how hard she worked. She knew that in order to possibly gain any rewards or trophies, it would involve outright rule-breaking, which was the end of her limits.

Her hair, as curly, black, silky smooth and shiny as always, was worn in it's usual style, the knee-length mane cascading down her back, often being the subject of envy amongst some of the females, her Slytherin robes immaculate, clean, and perfectly in order. She had started using her real last name of Black when she got to the school year, and she had been a subject of speculation by others for looking so much like feared Death Eater and Dark Witch Bellatrix Lestrange. However, there was one thing that separated her from the feared Witch and the Slytherins that she had been sorted with.

She was not seen traveling in the protective groups Slytherin traveled in, did not participate in any antagonizing and taunting the Slytherins did, and had steered clear of interaction with everyone. She was practically a ghost, having not done anything to be the subject of gossip beyond the changing of her registered last name in the Castle. Aside from that, she was a virtual unknown, because no one talked to her, and if they tried, they were said to be harshly rebuked. She actually seemed to be going out of her way to avoid getting into any kind of trouble or be the subject of anyone's gossip or catch their eye.

She was said to have no friends, no real enemies, never got into a relationship with anyone, and didn't even have a betrothed, which was usually normal for girls like her to have. She showed no interest in anyone, the only thing she was participating in were her classes, otherwise staying away from any participating, not signing up for any clubs, Quidditch, or anything like that. She had no interest in such things, finding her education and increasing her knowledge and power far more important than she would anything else.

Elizabeth was wandering around the castle since she had basically nothing much to do at her free time today. She had no plans for today at all. She looked around her awhile she walked through the corridors and wondered what to do today. Soon she saw the Room of Rewards doors, she stood in front of it and wondered if go in or not. She haven't visited this place long time. She soon did open the door and walked in. She began to look at these rewards what were here.

Ravenclaw girl did wear her ravenclaw robes today, what wasn't really her usual outfit when she didn't had classes but today she did felt like wearing it. Usually she did wear different dresses at her free time. She did had her blonde hair straight as she usually did. She didn't really bother to do anything with them most of times since she liked them these way like they were, okay yeah she did brush them of course.

She is from pureblood family but it isn't not so known like most families who are purebloods. Her on this rewards weren't nowhere written her family name at all but she still like to look at them. It was good to know why or how people have gotten one. She actually wants to have one reward at least with her name too but she really never says it out loud.

Lizzie did had friends in her life but she didn't really hang out with them so much. She wasn't really that social one like most of people. She more liked to be alone. She wasn't afraid of making friends or anything like that, it just was like that she may have some trusting issues in deep in side of her but herself doesn't really say it out never. She isn't sure when or why these issues did start. Actually she treasures all her friends since at home she doesn't feel like loved, parents spend too much time with her little brother now and she needs to do something to get their attention.

Soon she did notice even one other girl here looking at the rewards. She wasn't sure at first to say hi or not. She knows that soon also her will notice that she is here. "Hey," she said then to that girl. She wasn't sure what else to say now. She did even smile a little bit.

Lyra, being as focused and attentive as she was, managed to pick up the sound the door opening, as well as the sound of footsteps upon the stone floor, and subtly moved her head a bit so that she could take a look at the person that was walking through the door. The first thing that caught her attention about the girl was the Ravenclaw robes that she was wearing. Ah, a lone Ravenclaw all by herself without any of her House Mates. She had assumed that all members of the four Houses traveled together instead of going alone like what Lyra usually did.

The girl was a blonde, and obviously a 6th Year. She watched from her position in the room with her eyes on the girl as the blonde-haired Ravenclaw looked through the trophies. The girl was vaguely familiar to her, the heiress of the Night Family if she wasn't mistaken, and she doubted she was. Great Aunt Cassiopeia had been adamant she learn about the different families and their members, so she had memorized each of their names, though the girl's first name eluded her at this moment. It was poor form, but all the first names of the Purebloods she couldn't possibly remember, since her memory wasn't perfect.

The Night girl seemed to finally notice she was there, Lyra's back turned to her causing Night to not be able to see that she was a Slytherin. In response, Lyra slowly, and elegantly, turned on her heel to look at and acknowledge the 6th Year Ravenclaw. She looked her up and down for a moment, but doing so subtly by only using her eyes, as if she were analyzing her. With Lyra now turned to face her, it would be easy to recognize her as one of the topics of gossip around the castle, not to mention the Slytherin symbol and colors on her robe.

"Greetings to you as well Night" was her only verbal response, her stiff posture, her cold expression, and her forcibly polite, formal tone of voice and speech indicating that she was someone raised strictly in the ways of Pureblood Society. Elegant, poised, and graceful, yet the coldness of the girl could be considered off-putting by most, and if Night was off-put by it, she wouldn't have been the only person that was whenever someone spoke to Lyra. She just wasn't a very sociable person naturally, and she was every bit of an Ice Queen as people might have thought of her.

Elizabeth tried to figure out who this girl was now. At first she couldn't see anything at all. This girl didn't look at her or she couldn't see her robe colors at first or anything like that. When she turned around totally towards her then Lizzie knew who she was now. He was the girl from Black pureblood family. She knew a little bit about them. She haven't really studied the pureblood family history much.

She looked at her and nodded quietly. She couldn't tell what was girls first name at all right now. She knew that girl was in slytherin house and also seventh year. But she have heard about these gossips talks but she didn't really care about these. She did listen them of course if someone told them to her but she didn't go and tell to someone else. It wasn't like her, the gossiping someone behind their backs. She wasn't that social one also, she just couldn't do it even if she didn't know that person or even know.

"I'm Elizabeth, but you can just say Lizzie," she said then to her with smile, but you could say that her voice wasn't warm, it was rather cold tone. She did like it people called more her by her first name or then nickname. It has just been like that years already. She wasn't sure about what to talk now at all. She tried to smile but that doesn't mean that she was happy or anything like that at all.

Lyra gave no visual confirmation of having heard the cold tone the girl used. She certainly wasn't angry by it, if anything, her emotional reaction to the cold tone would actually be relief, since that would mean this girl most likely wasn't an amicable, social person either. That was good as far she was concerned, because she didn't like socializing with anyone in general. Plus, the fact that the girl was either that ignorant, or that courageous, to talk to Lyra Arabella Black like that. She would almost applaud the girl, if it didn't wind up ruining the unapproachable Ice Queen persona she had shown the others around her.

"Very well Elizabeth. I would prefer you call me Black, though, as I do not feel comfortable in having others refer to me by my first name" she said to Elizabeth in response, a wrinkling of her nose indicating that she did not like the idea of having anyone refer to her by her last name. She wasn't comfortable with anyone but her late Great Aunt referring to her as anything else, and she didn't take it too well when someone used her first or middle names without her permission. It wasn't because she was ashamed of those names, it was just because that, due to her formal upbringing, she was much more used to being referred to by her last name.

Elizabeth didn't mind being the cold or anything like that but it just does happen sometimes still. It's just her and some people don't get it. She isn't the most social one, okay she was when she was much much younger but now she isn't. She is not even herself why it is like that. Okay she did social with people sometimes when she felt like doing it but usually no, she did hang out alone or with her cat, who was her best friend actually. But she have had her only one year so not long time.

She nodded on that. "Yeah that's what many purebloods tends to do, but I guess I'm little bit different," she said. She just didn't grow up like most purebloods does. She didn't had that formal upbringing. Her parents weren't so strict about it. They were busy with other stuff than tell to their own kid about pureblood lifestlye, history and so on. She had to learn that all her own basically and maybe because of that all she ended up being ravenclaw girl. She just now likes to learn and so on a lot. She most of her days spends learning new stuff but every time different one. She didn't like when people kept calling her Night but she used with it now. But she really does likes that more if she is called Elizabeth or Lizzi.e
