Tristan Lycanthe walked along the pathway of the courtyard her hea din the clouds. She was thinking about how she was going to pass her classes this year and how she was going to freak out when it came time for her finals. She was already stressing out over her homework and that was nothing compared to what was soon to come. She got caught up in her thoughts and wasnt watching where she was going. She stumbled over her own two feet and crashed into someone, sending them both to the ground. "Im sorry. Are you ok?" She looked at the person underneath her and saw a very cute boy.

Olli bounced through the castle without a care in the world, his cargo shorts pockets full of candy on one side and dung bombs on the other. Every time he saw someone he knew he would bound over and stare up into their face with a funny look and would growl out ”What has it got in its pocketses?!”

Once the person picked a pocket and took either a sweet or a trick, he’d bounce away to the next person all on his way to the grounds. By the time he’d gotten outside, Olli’s pockets were about half full and he was grinning like mad, knowing there would be a certain stink about the castle soon, since most of the people had tossed the bombs in random directions. Filch might catch him for it later, but he didn’t much care, so he kept bouncing along only to be run into by another wandering student while he wasn’t paying a bit of attention where he was going.

The Gryffindor opened his eyes only to grin foolishly up at the girl who now seemed to be straddling him, sending her a wink as he recognized her as a fellow fifth year. ”Heya, pretty thing. I should really know your name, but it seems I don’t pay near enough attention when the professors open their mouths, so…” Olli sat up, holding the girl in his lap while he continued to grin at her. ”I’m Olli. Wanna tell me your name so I can make something more exciting of it?”

Tristan blushed when he winked at her and held her in his lap, "Um.. I'm... I'm Tristan. Tris. Well actually its Tristan but I... I go by Tris." She stumbled over her words like and idiot. She bit her lip as the spot where his hand was made her skin tingle. He was really cute. She met his ice blue eyes with her brown ones and smiled. "Um.. I'm sorry for running into you." She quickly got up and held out her hand to help him up. "I was distracted and... yeah." She mumbled and blushed.

With a tilted head, Olli took the offered hand and stared at the girl rather quizzically. He didn't know how she'd managed to get out of his lap so quickly, nor why. Most people were more... relaxed once he had them in his arms. This one was like a frightened rabbit or something. He wasn't sure how to deal with such things, as usually rabbits fled well before he got too close to them.

As it was, he stood before the girl and tilted his head before focusing and grabbing both her hands, placing them on each of the semi-bulging pockets of his shorts. "What has it got in its pocketses, Precious?" he asked with a grin, then leaned in to whisper in her ear. "Now you pick a pocket and take what's inside."

She gasped when he grabbed her hands and placed them on his pockets. "Um.. ok." She whispered when he told her to pick a pocket. "Left." She reached inside and pulled something out. "A chocolate frog." She smiled and giggled, "I love these." She opened it and grabbed the frog quickly before it could get away. She pulled the card out and smiled, "Rowena Ravenclaw. Appropriate since I'm a Ravenclaw." She laughed and smiled at Oliver. She watched as the spell on the frog wore off and it returned to its normal chocolate state. She broke the treat in half and offered part to Oliver, "Want some?" Now that he has given her chocolate, Tris was more relaxed around him.

"Good choice, Precious. The other one is full of dung bombs." Olli flashed his lop-sided smile at her before taking the offered half frog and popping it in his mouth, chewing and swallowing quickly before flashing her another grin, chocolate coating his teeth. "Ravenclaw's a decent enough card. Bit up tight though. I like flipping her off, myself. She makes the best faces. See?"

He flipped the card the bird then, only for the witch to give him a dirty look and start shaking her finger at him. He laughed heartily then, looking up at the witch he now called 'Precious'. "See? Entertaining. Slytherin tries to send curses out of his card when you do that. It's pretty funny stuff, really. So. What are you doing out here anyway? Other than running into studs like me?" Olli winked at her again, reaching into his pocket and pulling out a handful of Bertie Botts, which he tossed in his mouth and chewed up into an odd mix of strange flavors that would probably make anyone else sick. He was odd, yeah, but that was Olli. He grinned after swallowing the mess, waiting for her to entertain him.

She blushed when he called her precious. The laughed when he flipped off the card, "Well then, thats interesting." She said as Rowena Ravenclaw gave him a look. "Note to self, don't piss of Slytherin then." She smiled and laughed, "well then, Stud. I was just out for a walk. I got caught up in my own thoughts. But, I'm kind of glad I did." She smiled shyly. "That looks disgusting. How can you stand all thos nasty flavors." She giggled and flipped her hair over her shoulder and smiled again. She sure was smiling alot.

Tessa walked along the courtyard and saw two people laughing over a chocolate frog. She recognized her best friend and walked over there, "Hey Tris. Whos your friend?" She said skeptically. Tessa was very protective of Tris, even though she was the younger one. She crossed her arms and raised an eyebrow at the boy, "I'm Tessa. Tessa Di Angelo. Tris' best friend. And you are?" She cocked her hip out and tilted her head to the side.

Tristan sighed when she heard the familiar voice of her best friend, "Tessa.... Bad timing." She gave her friend a look that said Go Away, but of course she didnt. She groaned and rolled her eyes shooting Oliver an I'm sorry look. Tessa gave Oliver an extreme death glare and she knew Oliver would never speak to her again now thanks to Tessa. "Tess...." She growled through her teeth.

It was as if Olli was a bird whose plumage fluffed out when he was called ‘Stud’ by the pretty girl. He grinned all lop-sided at her and was about to say something about just how glad he was that she had run into him when some younger blonde hurried over and started glaring at him like he was Satan’s spawn.

The new girl introduced herself and Olli bowed a bit obnoxiously before offering her a smile and tilting his head at her. ”Olli Adams. Nice to meet ya, Killer.” He winked at the girl before tilting his head at her and motioning to both his pockets. ”Pick a pocket, any pocket, see what’s inside. One’s a trick, other’s a treat!”

He wanted to continue the flirting with the girl he now called Precious, but figured he could always pick that back up once her friend left. Or maybe even some day in the near future in the worst case scenario. For now he could have some fun with both girls. This best friend of hers seemed like just the type Olli enjoyed playing with anyways.

"Tessa Marie Di Angelo. Go away." She growled through her teeth. Tessa knew not to mess with her when she used her full name. Hopefully she would get the hint that she wanted to be alone with Olli. But then he told her to pick a pocket and she groaned. "Olli..." She gave him a look that said she wanted to be alone with him. But then of course Tessa went to pick a pocket.

"Dont you dare go full name on Tristan Amelia Lycanthe." She gave Olli a wierd look when he told her to pick a pocket. "Ok." She reached into his right pocket and pulled out something that later exploded covering her in ink. "WHAT THE HELL!?" She screamed, "Its in my hair!?" She glared at Olli, "You will pay for this." She stormed off and screamed about her hair.

Olli watched the girls in a bit of a confused state, especially when the blonde seemed to freak out about her hair. Who cared about hair? He sure didn’t. There were much more important things to get into than something as silly as your hair. For instance, you could climb the outside of the astronomy tower and sit on the roof (just don’t sit on the point of the roof- ouch!) or you could use two brooms and try air skiing. Olli still wanted to try that one…

He’d zoned out a bit as the girls talked, or fought, or whatever it was they were doing, and only came back to the moment when the blonde one he’d named Killer took her leave of them. He shook his head in a rather confused manner, quirking a brow at the pretty brunette he’d been enjoying his time with before the interruption. ”Is she always like that, Precious?” he asked, genuinely confused.

For the number of girls he tended to get involved with, Olli was rather stupid when it came to the ‘fairer sex.’ He didn’t understand their little arguments and he definitely didn’t do the fashion and hairdos and makeup and all that stuff. Hell, he only really owned Gryffindor tees and khaki cargo shorts other than his uniforms, which he hated wearing. It was really only his adorable smile and his very-talked-about goods that kept him in the game as much as he was. At least, that’s what he figured.

”So anyway… I’m thinking about heading over to the pumpkin patch and seeing if I can catch a crow. Always wanted one for a pet. Much better than an owl if I do say so. You uh… you wanna come along? I might need some company til the birds start showing up…” Yeah, it was kind of lame to invite her along on one of his stupid adventures, but Olli kinda liked this girl, so why not? He offered her an arm as he made to start marching over to the patch in an obnoxious fashion as always.

"Yes, she is always like that. Really annoying, but she's my best friend." Tris smiled when he invited her to come along with her to the pumpkin patch, "Id love to join you. But I'm not rather fond of birds.... Something about them creeps me out. But if you're there I'm willing to deal with it." She linked her arm through his and smiled as they marched down to the pumpkin patch, "Just promise you wont ever let me pick the trick pocket. Because if I end up covered in ink... well... bad things will happen." She teased and winked at him. She giggled as they marched down to the patch like soldiers. ""So why a Crow?" She was curious as to what drew the boy in about the scary creature.

Olli got a confused look when the girl seemed upset at the idea of having some trick pulled on her. Why wouldn’t he let her pick the trick pocket? That was half the fun! Ridz would probably want the trick pocket just to see what he was up to, then demand some chocolate, if he knew her at all yet. The boy was pretty sure he had a good idea of his Slytherin friend though, so he smiled to himself and kept quiet. Maybe he just wasn’t used to ‘normal’ girls anymore. He didn’t really like normal though. It tended to be boring, which was the exact opposite of what he strived for every single day of his life.

As it was, he led the way jovially to the pumpkin patch, even more confused by her dislike of birds. This girl sure seemed to have a lot of dislikes. And she seemed rather skittish, really. Olli tried not to let it bug him, but he was still a bit… put off by it all. Why would he want to waste his time with someone without a sense of adventure? Then there was the whole idea of her coming along with him cause he was special or something, and that had him a little freaked out.

”Whoa there, dollface. I’m so not some hero type. I might be a Gryffindor, but it’s not for the saving people stuff that Cappy has. I’m just a brave idiot, promise!” He’d stopped when they were nearly at the patch and had pulled his arm back, feeling a little bad, but not all that worried. If truth be told, Olli just wasn’t a liar, so it wasn’t his nature to let this girl go on thinking he was anything he wasn’t.

He shook his head, but then looked at the pumpkins and noted two crows pecking about. Well, at least there was potential for him to have some fun, as long as he could calm the Ravenclaw down enough to actually get a shot in at catching one of the birds. ”You should never ask why, Precious. You should ask yourself ‘why not’!”

"I just realized I may have made myself sound timid or scared, like a little girl." She blushed and smiled, "But I'm not. Really. I'm all for adventure and all that. I just dont like brids. When I was 5 I was chased into a lake by a bunch of ducks and almost drowned. Haven't liked them since. The bloody creatures terrify me." Tris said, rather embarrassed by her little back story. SHe giggled when he said he was brave, "You seem brave to me. Everyone is brave in their own way. It all depends on what you'r ebeing brave for and what its about, I guess. And that made no sense." She blushed and saw the two crows he was looking at and nodded, "Why not?" SHe asked skeptically. She had always been one to question everything, but when it came to him... she didnt want to auestion it. She wanted to just go with it. "Ok then. Why not?" Maybe Oliver could help her get over he fear, if anyone could do it, A gryffindor could. And she hoped that Gryffindor would be Olli. "So what do we do now?" She whispered, so not to scare the birds away. She grabbed her wand out of her boot just in case it required magic, which it probably did.

Olli couldn’t resist the urge and quacked at the girl, sure he’d probably manage to get himself slapped before their little adventure ended. He laughed rather hysterically, then shrugged at her as he stared at the birds. ”Like I said, I’m brave in my own special way. Nothing that would help anyone else, but it’s pretty damn fun!”

He focused on the birds, thinking about how he might catch one of them, then grinned and leaned over as if he was going to whisper something more to the girl, only to quack loudly in her ear before hopping the fence of the pumpkin patch and approaching the crows. Olli had taken the lace out of one of his trainers while he thought about a plan, and now he swung it like a little lasso as he approached the birds.

One of them flew away, but the other seemed to eye him with a sort of dare in its beady little eyes, and that had the Gryffindor ready for a challenge. He swung the shoelace at the creature, getting it around its head in such a way that it almost seemed like the bird wanted to be caught. Not thinking anymore on it, Olli grinned and whooped in joy before reeling his catch in.

That was when the whooping ended and the grumbled complaints began. The bird had found a place on his head as soon as he started pulling it towards himself, and now it was digging its talons into the crown of his head, leaning in to peck at his forehead hard enough to have him bleeding.

”Ow! Oh, shit, hell, damn! Fine! I won’t make you my pet! Damn crow! Get the hell off me, you demonic creature!” Olli flailed around the pumpkin patch, trying and failing to get the bird off of his head. His eyes were scrunched up in pain and he wasn’t paying any attention to where he was moving, so it came as no surprise when he tripped over a pumpkin and fell face-first in the dirt. At least the bird flew away, but now he was bleeding and covered in dirt, and his ego was pretty damn sore, too. ”That was a bad idea…” he muttered into the dirt.

Tristan jumped when he quacked in her ear and slapped his arm, "Oliver Adams." She frowned and bit her lip as she watched the crows with him. Then, he leaned in and quacked again, loudly in her ear. She screamed and glared at him She was surprised the birds didnt fly away from the echo of her scream, "You are such a jerk!" She then saw him catch one of the birds and she was happy for him. "Great, can we go now?" She saw that one of the birds was staring at her and it creeped her out. The bird that Olli had caught then began to attack him, "Olli!" Then the bird that was staring at her flew at her! She screamed louder than ever and ran towards Olli. She hid behind him just before he fell face down into the dirt. When he stood up, the bird flew toward her and she screamed. She jumped away and accidentally fell on top of Olli, making them both fall to the ground, "We have to stop doing this." She looked into his eyes and smiled. "Pretty... Did I say that out loud?" She giggled and suddenly, she really wanted to kiss him. She didnt know why or where the urge came from. It was suddenly just there.

The Gryffindor boy was really confused, but he wasn’t sure if he should be, or if it was just the very possible concussion he was probably sporting… Either way, his head was spinning and he was left staring at the girl with a rather clueless look in his eyes. Pretty? What did she mean? Was she talking about him? She was staring at him all funny, and she seemed to be blushing… The fact that she’d just landed on top of him after he’d been pecked in the skull was mildly disconcerting too.

”Uh.. yeah. Pretty. Whatever you say.” He wasn’t sure why she was giggling. She’d just called him a jerk before he went after the crow, and then she’d witnessed him get pecked to a point of bleeding from his head, but now she was all… girly? He blinked at her, wiping off his face in an attempt to remove the dirt as best he could, then touching the sore spot where the crow had beaten him with its beak.

He hissed when he poked at it, pulling his fingers away and staring at the blood that colored them. ”Huh. Well, at least it didn’t go through my skull. That’s one good thing about me. Got a really thick head. Might need to get patched up though… The wound kinda smarts…” He poked at it a bit more, looking at his Ravenclaw companion. ”Think a band aid will cut it, or do I have to visit my least favorite mediwitch again?”

"I meant your eyes, Olli. Your eyes are pretty." She then remembered she was still on top of him and quickly scrambled to her feet. "Sorry. Sorry." WHen he asked if bandaids would cover the situation, she looked at him like he was crazy. "I think we should take you to the hospital wing. Just to make sure it didnt cause any real damage. If you want, I can stay with you there. The Mediwitch loves me so i'm sure she will let me stay." She grabbed Ollis hand without thining and gave it a light squeeze. She stepped closer and looked up at him thinking to herself, Just kiss me already. She blinked a few times innocently and bit her lip. She started twirling the Sapphire jewel around her neck and blushed lightly. Why did she want him to kiss her? She didnt like him... did she? Ok she did. She bloody did.

It seemed odd to the boy, having someone tell him his eyes were pretty. It seemed especially odd to him for that someone to be complimenting said eyes when his head was bleeding and he’d just epically failed to do what he’d intended. He felt like a bit of a joke at the moment, to be honest. So he didn’t really understand why the girl was looking at him like he was something special or whatever that light look in her eyes was. Of course, she had just looked at him like he was crazy moments before, but that was beside the point.

”Aw, man… Are you sure I have to go to the Hospital Wing? I really hate that place…” he muttered, taking her hand and starting toward the castle, oblivious to whatever she seemed to want from him. At this point he was ready to just call it a day, having failed at his goal of getting himself a new pet, and having run out almost completely of his tricks and treats.

Perhaps he was being foolish, but Olli generally didn’t even notice such things. He was often foolish without meaning to be, so it was becoming rather natural for him. ”I doubt you want to stick around for my lecture, Precious. That witch is kinda brutal to me.”

Tristan sighed when Olli didn’t kiss her. But she smiled when he continued to hold her hand. She was happy he didnt move away or even laugh at the fact that she wanted to hold his hand. She walked along with him hand in hand towards the castle. She shook her head when he suggested she leave, “I wanna stay with you… I mean... I wanna make sure you are ok. But if you don’t want me to, I understand.” Tris was used to rejection. But she hoped he didn’t send her away. She met her eyes with his and leaned up and softly kissed his cheek. “The mediwitch is brutal towards everyone. Except for me for some reason. She likes me.” She giggled and twirled the jewel again, biting her lip softly. She really wanted to kiss him, to feel his lips pressed against hers. To.wrap her arms around his neck as their lips moved against eachothers. How could she show him without having ti make the first move?

He hadn’t expected a kiss, and Olli couldn’t help the grin that came to his face upon receiving it. Well, he was still a guy, and he definitely enjoyed kisses. He enjoyed other things too, but those usually involved older girls who already had the reputation for being just what he sought out. It wasn’t that he wanted to use ‘em and lose ‘em as some would say, but Olli wasn’t the kind of guy to… settle down. He didn’t want a ‘girlfriend’ and he sure as hell didn’t want to have to impress anybody or buy them gifts or take them out to eat or any of that bullocks.

This girl seemed much too sweet for anything the Gryffindor would consider, and so he was trying to keep his mind from thinking about what those lips would feel like in other places. Merlin, sometimes Olli could be a very dirty boy. He was sure Ridz would scold him for such thoughts, but then she’d probably end up laughing at how he was quickly giving himself a case of the blue balls, too.

”Well, I mean, if you want to I suppose it might be nice to have someone there to try and stop the witch from lecturing me all day…” he trailed, still feeling rather dizzy thanks to his head injury and that damned bird. Bloody crow… someday Olli would catch one. And he’d try and make sure it was that particular one, too. Parade the bloody thing about the school and make it do tricks! ”Just don’t let me fall off the staircases. They move, you know.”

Okay, maybe he did need the hospital wing.

Tris giggled and nodded when Olli mentioned the stair cases. “I would never let you fall.” She was already beginning to fall herself. Fall for him, that is. She sighed again when he didn’t kiss her. It was time to take matters into her own hands. “Olli…”

She took a deep breath and bit her lip nervously. When he turned to her, she leaned forward and kissed him. It felt amazing. His lips on hers. His lips were soft and felt perfect against her own. She wrapped her arms around his neck and moved a bit closer to him, so it wasn’t as far of a stretch between their lips.

She pulled away finally to catch her breath and blushed nervously. She looked down at her feet and bit her lip, “Sorry. I just really wanted to do that.” She moved her hair out of her face and continued walking to the Hospital Wing, “Come on Bird Boy.”

Olli fell forward a bit when she pulled her lips away from his, eyes closed and mind wandering. Maybe he was little dizzy from the crow having pecked at his head, but then again, maybe he was just a bit intoxicated by those soft lips. Mmm, he was pretty happy with the way the girl took the lead and kissed him. Maybe she wasn’t as innocent and unlike his usual witches as Olli had thought.

Shooting her a crooked smile, he squeezed her hand a bit and let her lead him along toward the infirmary, not that he really wanted to go there. ”A couple more of those and I might think this trip to the medi-demon was worth it, Precious,” he commented with a wink. ”Maybe instead of never letting you pick the trick pocket I should just give you a treat in addition. Make the trick up to you, see? So, if you pick the bomb, I could give you a kiss like you just gave me.”

And maybe a bit more… He thought the additional bit to himself, but he was sure she might come up with the idea without his help, given how eager she seemed to be just to kiss him. Yeah, Olli could definitely get used to witches throwing themselves at him like this. ”You should know something though, Precious. I kiss a lot of girls. And as you’ll hear from Pompfrey I’m sure, I am not a good boy.”

With another lopsided grin, he entered the hospital wing, the shrieks of anger already starting as the mediwitch approached.
