Where there is smoke there is often fire Empty
PostSubject: Where there is smoke there is often fire   Where there is smoke there is often fire Icon_minitimeMon Jun 30, 2014 7:41 pm

After dinner Sirena was anxious to relieve a little bit of stress that had been building up during the week.  First she had to shake off the two girls who were clinging to her like moss to a rock.  While Sirena was all for them doing her bidding and dirty work, sometimes she just needed a moment to herself to be able to breathe and plot.  Waving her hand at them with a shake of her head and a pointed look she pointed towards the stairs.

"I am in need of books for this weeks Potions assignment.  Go to the library and check them out before someone else is able to get their grubby little fingers on them."

Finally they trudged off looking as if someone had stolen their favorite pair of kitten heels. "Fools, all fools," she muttered as she turned and started out of the castle and across the grounds.  She wanted a place where she could practice in private, as the spells she had been working on were not fit for just anyone.  They were her own special blend and she needed to make sure that she was able to control them and not destroy an entire town the first time she used it.

Making her way down the hill and around towards the waterfall she let out a sigh of relief when it came into view and there was no one in sight.  Reaching up she tugged the silver and emerald pin out of her hair and let it fall in gentle waves around her shoulders.  Next came the loosening of her tie and the unbuttoning of the top buttons of her blouse.  Of course she would never walk around the castle like that, there were standards to uphold.  But here, by herself she could let down her hair down and live a little.

Pulling her wand out of her stocking she smiled as she took aim at some of the reeds growing alongside the water. Flicking it in a zig zag pattern she muttered the greek word for fire.  Yes, the name of it wasn't very imaginative, but it worked for now.  As the flames shot at the reeds she could not help but laugh with glee.

"Perfect." She said to herself, pleased that it had worked so well.  Just as she was about to shoot at another set of reeds she heard a snap on a twig behind her and muttering water, she turned around with her wand extended. "Whoever you are, you are not welcome here."

The day had been relatively uneventful for the Gaunt heir. He'd wandered to class and sat in what counted somehow as his uniform, even though his tie was only over one shoulder and his shirt wasn't even buttoned at all, no undershirt beneath and slacks riding low enough to make the professors and Hufflepuffs scowl. His shortly shaved hair was a dark shade of brown and kept at just the right length, barely even sprouting from his head, at all times. His face was kept perfectly shaved and clean. His scent was always a musky rugged one that screamed 'male' when he walked by. That was as much perfection as he craved.

His clothes spoke of danger. His eyes, they were an omen of death just waiting to announce itself. Almost all of his professors were terrified of him, and he was sure more than one had figured out a fair bit of his origins. He knew for a fact that the headmaster had known just where he came from, but he'd pushed the idiot old man away from day one.

Snape, now he might have some clue. And he could be a problem, but Kronos wasn't too worried. Even as he strode out of the Defense classroom with a week's detention and orders to either clothe himself properly or not show up at all, he knew the man was intimidated. Everyone was intimidated in the end. The boy made sure of it.

The Slytherin had no desire to go to his dorm, and very little want to stay in the castle walls, so he looked around and snapped his fingers at a fifth year from his house. "Take these to my room. Do not touch anything, or you will find your fingers eaten away by acid." He dropped his bag and the tie in the kid's arms and turned away without another word, strutting easily out of the castle and around the quidditch pitch to a little nook where he'd often found many a female in an awkward state of dress.

This time, however, he was greeted with the site of a familiar member of his own house, and she was using magic he had never seen before. She was younger than him, sure, but she was definitely a pureblood and she was damn strong too. The spell she'd just used was an amazing display of power, and he was salivating just looking at her.

"Oh really? Me, not welcome? The Titan of your house? That's a real shame, Sweetie." His voice was like black velvet, smooth but so damn dangerous you could feel it in your bones. He looked at the girl with hunger in his demon's eyes, openly judging her and finding her passing said judgement. "How about you rethink that opinion and show me that spell again, babygirl. You do it that good another time and I might just have a proposition for you."

Where there is smoke there is often fire Empty
PostSubject: Re: Where there is smoke there is often fire   Where there is smoke there is often fire Icon_minitimeWed Jul 02, 2014 8:21 am

Sirena was addicted to power, the feeling that it gave her while surging through her veins. She got the same feeling every time she played with fire. Sure there was a chance of getting burned but just the chance for danger, made her feel alive. It was, odd she was sure but it was who she was all the same. In her short five years at Hogwart she had been carefully biding her time, only socializing with those who she thought could better her status. While she thought she was better than them it did not mean that she could not use them to her advantage and so she did. Now in her fifth year she had two girls that did her every request, simply because they were stupid enough to follow orders from the power hungry girl. One could almost compare them to Crabbe and Goyle, only just a tiny bit smarter, though not by much.

They were loyal though, she would give them that and they knew how to keep secrets. Sirena had many secrets, some they knew though most they would never learn. Like her obsession with fire. How she like to sit and watch the flames lick and burn at whatever substance she could throw at it. Which was why she like to sit in front of the fireplace, late late at night after housemates were in bed. It was how she came up with most of her spells, late late at night when no one was watching, or judging her.

That was why whenever she could she snuck away from the girls, who weren't quite friends. Sirena knew how much they liked to talk and she had no desire to be part of their idle gossip. Because no matter how much respect she demanded of them she couldn't force others to do the same. To others she was just some power hungry Slytherin who did not know her place in the grand scheme of things. That would not last forever, and one day she would show them just who she truly was.

Which brought her to where she was currently. Trying out her spells, she thought alone. It did not surprise her however and as she rounded around she truly thought it was some misguided first year. Never did she think it would be Gaunt or her tone would have never been what it was. "I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else... some brat of a first year sneaking around places he isn't welcome." Lowering her wand back to her side she tried to calm her racing heart.

Listening to him with interest she could almost feel the danger rolling off of him, but it spoke to something deep down inside of her. "I know I can trust you to keep what you see here a secret so alright." Turning back around with a smile gracing her lips she lifted her wand and traced the same pattern causing fire to shoot out at the reeds, the flames licking up and down angrily. As easily as it started she put the flames back out, bringing her wand back down to her side.

"Obviously I am no first year, Sweetie," he said smoothly, moving up slightly behind and beside her. He watched as she readied her wand, not feeling the need to respond to her assessment that he would keep her secrets. It was obvious that he would. He always kept secret the things that needed kept as such.

He watched as she performed the spell again, a deadly smile forming on his lips. Oh, yes. She was perfect. Maybe a bit young, but that made it all the better. She was already so damn powerful, plus there was time to mold her into exactly what he wanted. Kronos felt like the cat who'd just caught the golden canary. He was going to be so set to take his fool of an uncle's throne.

"Perfect." He grabbed the girl about her waist and spun her around, pulling her into his body and smiling down at her with desire filling his eyes. "I do believe we might have the beginnings of a beautiful partnership here, Sweetie. I'm sure you know how high up the ranks my name alone puts me. I have enough tricks to put me even higher than that, I assure you. So, babygirl, what do you say? You ever wanted to be a Dark Mistress?"

His eyes were bright with the hunger for her power. He hoped she would want to be his Dark Lady. He would make her into absolute royalty. "I'll have a throne for you right beside mine, and your own servants to wait on you hand and foot." The offer was so good, he didn't know how the girl might refuse. He let his hands wander further down from her waist to her hips, then toward her ass, not even bothering to ask permission before touching her wherever he wanted.

The boy would soon be her Lord. He could do whatever pleased him.

Where there is smoke there is often fire Empty
PostSubject: Re: Where there is smoke there is often fire   Where there is smoke there is often fire Icon_minitimeThu Jul 03, 2014 11:59 am

Feeling a bit ashamed for assuming him to be a first year, a forlorn look crossed her face but only for the briefest second before it was replaced with a look of determination. She would never show a moment of weakness in front of him. Sirena was raised better than that, and knew that to be the best you had to surround yourself with the best.

The magic she practiced was beyond that of an average fifth year. Sirena knew though to keep a handle on it when it was needed, thus her reason for practicing where prying eyes could not use the information against her. After all what she was prone to practice was not exactly light magic. It was dark, and getting darker every time she came up with a new spell, for example. Her latest fire spell. There was no practical purpose for it but it gave her the thrill, the rush she craved. Only matched by the thrill she got by sneaking into the restricted section on the library and reading all about various dark acts. The possibilities were endless.

As she lowered her wand back down she was caught off guard as he grabbed her and spun her around into him and it took her a fraction of a second to regain her composure as she looked up at him. The look in his eyes sparked something inside of her even if she could not quite put her finger on it. Nodding as he spoke she tried to comprehend just every thing he was saying. His name could bring her all of the respect that she craved, that her delusional brain thought she deserved. He could give her everything she desired and then some and she would do everything in her power to keep it once it was gained.

"There is nothing greater in this world that I desire. I will do whatever you need me to do to make sure you rise to the throne." Glancing down as his fingers roamed over her body, she could do nothing but stand there and let his hands and fingers explore. She had not done anything but kissed a boy but she wasn't stupid not by any means. If this was the price to pay for power however she was more than willing. Sirena knew that nothing she wanted would come easily, or just be handed to her.

Her words were magic to Kronos's ears, and he couldn't help but pompously smirk at the idea that he had at least one of the stronger purebloods kneeling before him, figuratively of course. He would have her literally kneeling soon enough though. The eager way she was letting him touch her, the hunger in her eyes when he even mentioned his name... it was all enough to tell him that this girl would do whatever he wanted of her.

"The first thing you can do..." he said slowly, moving his fingers over her body, "is make me a list of every true pureblood in this castle." His other hand made its way to her hair, tangling in his and giving an experimental tug as he thought over what else he might ask of this vixen of a girl.

That familiar evil glint flashed in his eyes as he let his mouth roam to her ear, letting his tongue taste the tender flesh before he huskily growled. "The second thing you can do is meet me in the potions storage room just after curfew tonight. Wear something that you don't mind getting a bit... dirty. Especially the knees."

At that, he pulled away from her and all but shoved her away from his own body, making an easy retreat from the secluded area and the girl he'd just struck a sort of deal with. Of course, he wasn't about to limit himself to just this one pureblooded female, but she didn't need to know that. He would have the perfect prospective bride before the end of the year. That meant he needed to evaluate each and every example of pureblooded perfection.

Kronos lazily wandered back to the castle, trying to decide what he wanted to do now until curfew came. He headed for one of the deepest dungeon rooms with a lazy smile curling his lips. Oh yes. This was going to be a wonderful little relationship.
